“Restoring American Democracy” (March, 2015) is an incomplete paper on steps that could be taken to make major improvements in democracy. Six issue areas are explored. I hope to wrap this up well enough by the summer of 2015 to be able to post it.
“Building a New America” (current) takes off from the above by proposing this vision: “We must overcome the politics of divide and conquer that now dominates our political system. We must find a way to unite Americans through methods that enhance reason and compassion.” It proposes some specific ways to unite the American people. I hope to finish this by the summer of 2015.
